Wu Hu Aquarium is a local company established in 1998 by Ben Wong.
A little history about us…
The shop was first located along Lim Liak Street within Tiong Bahru Market. Very soon, the promising shop location brought attention to many keen hobbyist and Wu Hu Aquarium was quickly recognised for it’s reliable products, reasonable pricing, great customer service and varieties.
The shop was later relocated to Havelock Road when Tiong Bahru Market had to undergo a facelift. After 2 years of waiting, Wu Hu Aquarium is back to her “home ground”! The shop is no longer situated within the Tiong Bahru market but next to the building, across a small street, at a row of shophouse along Seng Poh Road.
The current shop is at least 10 times the size of the one first started in 1998, and now we distribute a wide range of livestocks, fish feed, medication, water conditioner and loads of other accessories. You will expect the same if not higher standard then before, from the new shop.
We guaratee you better service, more variety and more quality products! Such statement is made possible because of the expertise and indepth knowledge from Ben Wong himself!

Why name it Wu Hu Aquarium?
“Wu Hu” (五湖) in Chinese means “Five Lakes“. Ben name the shop after the world’s top 5 lakes, which symbolized dynamic, depth, wideness, exotic, varieties, etc. Ben wanted his shop to have a unity of all the qualities of the 5 lakes.
